Gas Lift Vortex Meter for the Oil and Gas Industry
iPAC in partnership with Invensys Process Systems
are marketing the unique Gas Lift vortex Meter. This meter
has been developed specifically for use in oil and gas
production to measure well injection gas. The meter
provides accurate and reliable metering of well gas injection.
High turndown of 100:1 and high pressure rating of ANSI 1500.
iPACs will provide you with Engineering services
and computerised sizing. Ensuring the right fit for your
application. Additionally iPAC can include On site
commissioning if required internationally from our base in
Australia as well as assistance with dynamic pressure
and temp calculations in your DCS/PLC. Making Fox All
your one stop shop for high pressure flow applications.

Principle of Operation
GASLIFT Vortex Flowmeters use the principle of vortex
The rate at which vortices are shed is linearly proportional to the velocity of the fluid stream. For ease of implementation the Class 1500 pressure rated body is butt-welded into a precision metering run to optimize accuracy. It is fitted with reducing flanges as process connections, resulting is a configuration that maximizes that integrity of the design and simplifies installation and maintenance, especially offshore installations.
